We also had a math pretest today. We will also be doing STAR Math and Reading testing over the next two days on the computer. So along with this data and the upcoming DPS Interim Exams, we teachers are able to design instruction to best meet the needs of each child.
You might be wondering about homework. Students will receive a little bit of homework starting next week. However, with the Labor Day weekend and DPS Interim Exams, it will not be much. Normal homework routine will begin the week of September 10th. By that point, all students will have their assignment book. We are still waiting for the assignment books to arrive.
Currently students are in their Spanish rotation for Specials. Ask your child about our new Spanish teacher, Senor McFalls.
